DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW I CAN GET THE DISCRETES OR AN ANCHOR POINT FOR USING THE MULTIZONE INPUT SELECTION. I CAN DEVELOP A MACRO THAT GETS ME TO THE MULTIZONE INPUT SELECTION, BUT I HAVE NO ANCHOR AN ANY WAY OF GETTING A SPECIFIC INPUT SELECTED (am/fm, dvd, cd etc.) I WANT THIS TO CONTROL THE MULTIZONE ONLY AND NOT THE MAIN 5.1 SYSTEM.

If I am thinking right, There is a 3.5mm ir input on the back of the HK for multizone. They you the same ir codes for the main zone and multi zone.

Right you are. I decided to use the IR port too and was pleased with the solution (although it cost me the use of an IR receiver and Xantech connecting block that I hoped to avoid by finding discretes that I could send into the front with the single IR bug).... but wouldn't you know it, the AVR247 has a software bug that causes the entire system to switch to XM mode whenever you select XM for the multiroom via the IR port. It doesn't happen when you use the OSD mode. HK has now checked this out and confirmed the bug. It'll be several months before a patch is available. Isn't that sweet! Imagine your customer watching an intense seen in Spiderman 3 in his theater while someone on the porch outside switches to XM radio and the theater switches to XM too..... nice!!
