You need to be a lot clearer about what you're trying to accomplish, what you've tried, and with what results. Also, if you don't know what the phrase "discrete codes" means (which I have to conclude from reading your post) don't use the phrase. Say whatever it is you really mean some clearer way.

With difficulty, I downloaded the file you linked and figured out it is an LIRC file. What was "changed 7730 file" supposed to mean? How does LIRC fit in? You have a urc-7730 remote and an Altus tv. What are you trying to make work with what?

Your LIRC file says it was generated "Wed Feb 25 19:57:21 2004". That doesn't make any sense. It also says it is for setup code 0556 of a urc-7730 remote, but the function names aren't correct for that (see below).

OneForAll setup code TV/0556 uses RC5 protocol, device 0. You seem to be saying it works for power and for digit 1-9. But setup code TV/0556 has the same function numbers for power and 1 through 9 as virtually every TV using RC5 device code 0. If those codes worked for your TV, then almost any universal remote in existence has setup codes for Philips and other brands that have the identical signals for power and 1 to 9.

Your LIRC file is RC5 device 0, just like OneForAll setup code TV/0556, but the function numbers in that LIRC file do not match TV/0556. In the LIRC file Power is 32 and 1 to 9 are 17 to 25. In TV/0556 (and virtually all device operated by RC5) power is 12 and 1 to 9 are 1 to 9.

How did you create or get that LIRC file?

hi johnsfine!

Thanks for showing interest for my problem.Yes you are right that my IR knowledge is below poor!
Let`s start the story....
I have mobile phone nokia e50 with IR (like every other mobile) and i have heard about the program Psiloc IRremote ([Link: irremote.psiloc.com] that website besides that program are the codes for operating tv,aircon,hifi...with my phone.Because my tv Altus is not listed there i have tried with universal remote codes and i found working urc-7730 file
which is working "almost" perfectly with my tv Altus. But the problem is that some functions are not working as it should, and i have edited file that is uploaded to rapidshare.com simply using only notepad. My problem is that i dont know anything about IR signals and i dont know how to program channel + button and other already mentioned buttons.
The original file is: [Link: irremote.psiloc.com]

If i forgot to answer something, don`t hesitate to ask!

I don't understand yet, but maybe I'm getting closer:

You don't have a URC-7730 remote?

You have a device (a phone?) together with a program (Psiloc) that can send IR signals using LIRC files as a source?

You want to use that device as the remote control to operate your TV?

Your LIRC file for the TV has working codes for power and 1 to 9, but not for other commands?

How did you find those working codes for power and 1 to 9? The original LIRC file you linked has the standard signals 0c for power and 01 through 09 for 1 to 9. You seem to be saying those don't work, but 20 for power and 11 to 19 for 1 to 9 do work.

I haven't seen any data on IR signals for Altus TV's. But there aren't many signals available in RC5 device 0. I think your easiest course is to just test all of them to find the missing functions.

I expect all the working functions will have LIRC data values in the range 1000 through 103F. Maybe the range 1040 through 107F will be used, but I doubt that and I strongly doubt any signals outside those ranges will be used.

Your file lists 1010 for "-/--" and 1000 for '0'. You seem to be saying neither of those work. Since 1 to 9 are 1011 to 1019, I'd expect 0 to be either 1010 or 101A. Did you test whether one of those is 0?

If you aren't used to working in hex: There are sixteen digit values instead of the usual ten. So the number after 9 is A, followed by B, C, D, E and F before increasing the digit to its left. So the number after 1019 is 101A. The number after 101F is 1020. I hope those examples tell you enough to be able to count from 1000 to 107F (which range covers all possible signals of RC5 device 0).

First off all Happy new year!

Yes youre right,i dont have 7730 remote control.

Yes,nokia e50 with ir,and psiloc program which can read lirc.

My modified file have the working codes for 1-9,not 0(zero).I found out about 1-9,simply using the old non-modified file, which has for volume up and down 1010 and 1011 which showed me the zero channel, and channel one on my tv(you dont need much to figure out the rest channels)

Yes i want to use nokia to operate devices in my house.

Now lets talk "codes" for best comprehension.

Power off 1020 and now 101A :)
channel one 1011
channel two 1012...

for zero channel 1010 dont work, just figure out 100D works :)
