I have an Onkyo SR605 receiver and a MX-700 remote. I have the codes for the receiver but I have a problem with the "power on" button. When the "Power On" button is pressed when the receiver is already on, the receiver turns on my Onkyo CD Player and my I-pod dock. I use the "Power On" in several macros, an example is if I want to swith from Satelite to DVD etc... So if the receiver is already on and I want to switch to DVD the macro will turn on my CD player and I-pod also due to having the receiver "power-on" code in the macro. If the receiver is not on, the "Power On" button will only turn the receiver on and not the CD player and dock.
So I need a discrete code that dosn't do what it is currently doing or a work-around for my macros (I know one work-around is to turn the receiver off and back on as part of the macro but I would prefer not to do that).
Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

JT-Yoder, Do not use the power on command for your macros. Use any input command, like cbl/sat, and the onkyo receiver will turn on and switch to that input. Problem solved. Wil Home Theater Tech
