Does anyone know the discrete power on and power off for Philips VCR (model VCT 565) or similar?
I use device code 0081 on my One For All remote. I checked hifiremote.com and the jp1 group, but could not find it.

I answered your question there with:
"Try
On= EFC 018
Off=EFC 082
Also keep in mind that many VCR's and DVD's will turn on from off
with the play button. If so, On=Play|Stop and Off=Play|Power Toggle"
Did neither of those codes or the work-around work?
