I have a problem with a Sonicview SV-8000HD receiver and there are no codes in the database here. Here is what I have. I received this info from someone else but I do not know what to do with it. I am looking to use the codes for an MX-3000 or an MX-850 remote

There is no on or off codes in the firmware. The codes are multiples of FF in hex. I tried every one from 0000 through FFFF. I have a pcf file that works very well on the 8000. If you would like it let me know. Just so you know, I don't get here but once a weak. I don't think it would be very easy. I am enclosing the actual codes. I think it is more likely to help you. I found that the HD8000 remote codes are multiples of FF. After trying all of the possible codes I found that there is no OFF or ON command within the firmware of the box. The following are all of the possible codes and the ones that I identified. All of the following are the last 4 digits of the remote code that follow the main code (900A 006D 0000 0001 7D37)

Example: 900A 006D 0000 0001 7D37 00ff is the number 0.

I just got a 800hd and am trying to integrate it to my 3000 as the factory remote / ir receiver seem to suck! Lotsa double keys!

I would like a file!

How did you get all the hex codes from your list? I am somewhat new on this.

Thanks

The information in post 1 of this thread can be used to create ir signals for an MX 3000 using the MakeHex and Hex2ccf programs. In many other threads in this forum, you can find more detailed descriptions of the use of those programs to create a CCF file for use with universal browser.

The info you need specific to this device is:
Use the nec1.irp file and set device=125.55

The first two digits of each of those four digit hex numbers should be converted to decimal to use as the function number (to select which button to drag from the ccf file in universal browser).

That will most likely work but it is all over my head. Thanks anyway.
