EFC values are NOT the function codes for MakeHex.
OBC values are the function codes for MakeHex.
An EFC number is a stupid encription of the internal number an OFA remote uses to indicate a specific function within a setup code. In most protocols, that internal number is a simple encoding of the OBC number (so the EFC number equals an encription of the OBC number). But for RC5 it is a bit more complicated and indirect. So EFC numbers are not a practical form for representing RC5 signals outside the context of a specific OFA built-in setup code.
