Anyone have any discretes for the Denon AVR-800?

Looking mainly for the power on/off.

I have the Denon AVR-2700. I can't seem to find the right combination for a discrete Power-On. Maybe I'm not understanding how to actually enter the codes from the table in the previous post. What do the letters in those codes correspond to on the remote? Do you have to put the remote in discrete mode first? If so, how do I do that?
