I need the discrete power on and power off codes for the DENON DVD-1600 Player. I will be using them on the ProntoNEO remote.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

I am not sure that the Denon DVD's have discrete power codes. The one DVD listed in the Pronto discrete section uses the Panasonic DVD code and is presumably manufactured by them. I don't know what codes the 1600 uses, the 1500 uses the Denon DVD codes that AFAIK only has a power toggle.

Also, many DVD's turn on from Off with the Play button. If so On=Play/stop and Off=Play/power toggle.

There are a bunch of discrete codes and a conversion utility for pronto codes here:

Thanks for the info.
I had reached similar conclusions myself, after learning that the DVD-1600 started out as a Panasonic player.
In fact, I downloaded the discrete codes for the Panasonic RP91 unit and they work perfectly for my Denon.

Could you give me the discrete on/off for the Denon 1600? I had problems downloading the above file.
