I am looking for a discrete Input 6 for a Sharp LCD in Pronto/hex format. Also "TV" input discrete would be greatly appreciated also. The TV is one of the newer Sharp LCDs.

Thanks!!

Depending on the set there is no "TV" discrete. You can, however, enter a channel number and it will kick over (either digital or analog)

Hello tgrugett, I tried that code and it does not work on either of my LCDs. I have a 37d42u as well as a 52d64u. Any ideas?

Welcome to the club.

That is the only input 6 that I have record of. There are many frustrated sharp owners out there when it comes to input 6 & 7 on some models.... firmware omission I imagine. I can email you a relatively comprehensive list of codes (all codes for devices 1, 17 and 30 both used-documented and unused codes). If you have a pronto I have files for pushin' and testin'... just avoid the service menu or at least do a search for "Evil K" on this site for how to undo it.

You can alway construct a Macro by selecting input 5 and the toggle to 6.

Discrete Input 7 works on my LC-52D64U. Only the input 6 is what is not working. I think I'll just use the toggle workaround for now. I really don't want to mess with any experimental codes that will jack up my tv.

Thanks for youyr help!!
