Hi there!

Iīve got a real nifty little problem here.

My new Plasma works like that:

you press "ok" on the original remote, an on-screen Menu opens and you can choose the video-input by moving the cursur bar up and down and select it by pressing "ok" once again.
Quite nice, but only if you want to use the original remote.

Since my whole Home Theatre can be directed by the Pronto Classic Iīd love to integrate the new Plasma too.

The problem is:

If I want to watch DVD, I press the button "DVD" on my Pronto.

With my old Sony WEGA TV (there were discrete codes for AV1, 2, 3), that button would change the AV-channnel to the one connected with the DVD-Player, my Receiver would be changed to audio-input DVD and the panel of the Pronto would be switched to the DVD panel.

With that new Philips Plasma, I canīt figure out how to change the video-input to the one specially needed for the kind of device I want to use.

So the question is:

Are there any discretes for e.g. "HDMI 1" or "Side" or "EXT 1" and so on...

Philips Hotline was unable to help me.

Also the discretes on the Philips HP (last updated 2005) canīt be of any help, I didnīt try them but since there is nothing like "HDMI 1" and so on, it canīt work... there are only discretes for "AV1" and so on.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance,

Voider

My Phillips TV also works like this. BUT mine also has an AV button, this luckilly always starts at the top. a macro of AV + UP + right (right is used to select on mine) works like a discreet input command.

If your menu always starts in the same place this can be used as a Psuedo discreet
