I'm looking for descrete codes for the plasma TV Panasonic TH-42PX70, especially for changing AV input. I don't know if codes for other Panasonics found on this site can be used?

Just posted my discretes file for the TH-42PZ70E 2007 full HD plasma, containing on/off and several other discretes.
I think they will work for other recent Pannies too.

Hi,

this has been up before.

I have the TH-42-PV70P and found discretes hdmi1+2, tv and component. I havent found any for AV1+2 that works yet, so if you get those i am interested it getting those too.

You can use the other discrete codes though as an anchor to get the AV channels (eg. HDMI1 + AV/TV + 2xUP gives you AV2)

here are the discretes that worked for me:

PC:
0000 0071 0000 0032 007F 0040 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0AAB

Is there any way to use this ProntoPro file together with ProntoNEO?

hi freddan, unfortunately you have a remote that has to either learn codes directly from an original or get them from a database in the correct format, ie: ncf.
the discretes posted are either pcf format or Hex, neither of which your remote can accept. There may be a method of converting the pcf file to an ncf but i've never done it, someone else may have, you may want to try the Neo or Ng forums and do a search, like this:

Makitamark: Thanks for the tip! I was going to try a couple of Hex codes in Neohacker but I guess I first must convert them using Pronto2Neo as it states in the post you linked to.

No need to convert the codes; Neohackers accepts ProntoHex and converts for you!

Hi... I have a 50" PX60 and also have descrete codes for HDMI 1+2.. But I have just bought a PS3 and want to use that in HDMI, so I want to shift my Sky box over to component.

I read with interest that you have "hdmi1+2, tv and component", but in your post you list a code for "PC".. Do you really have a Component Descrete code? If so, any chance you could send it on?

Jon
