Can anyone help me out? Apparently there is no discrete codes that I could find anywhere for my rc-8000. I have a WS-65907 Mitsubishi TV that I need discrete codes for. Especially the inputs and power.
If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Is there some conversion program to convert pronto hex to the RC-8000 or does it use Pronto hex?

Also the answer at the bottom was posted by Eric Johnson some time ago but it describes two methods using the Original Mitsubishi remote to enable discrete commands. If either of these work you can learn them into your RC-8000.

If not you may need to purchase one of the One For All remotes since they have great libraries of commands and can be upgraded and programmed with discrete commands.

"Here are some workarounds for others:

Old Mits TV’s:
Go to User Setup Menus and enable Mitsubishi Active AV Network. This enables VCR “A” Play command to act as ON and EXT 1 command

New Mits TV’s:
Press and hold the power command and enter 090. Now, power=on, stop=off, two step macros for all inputs:input, PIP=DTV;input, 1=EXT1; likewise inputs 2,3,4; input, 5=DVD component 1; input, 6=component 2; input, SQV=Input STB; input, QV=Input VGA; input, PIP CH UP = Ant A; input, PIP CH DN =ANT B
