So we all must be a little slow or to busy to figure out
the easy solution.
Probably too busy
Next if you want more discrete code you just
reprogram the function buttons to what you want and then
learn these codes.
So basically you're saying that all of the inputs and all of those picture presets that can be selected for each Function button can be set as discretes if you learn them over and over and just change the name in your IR library?
You are right, it does seem too simple. I'll have to give it a try when I head back to the theater job that I had to take the AE1000u projector out due to the bullsh*t problem of bad grease in the Auto-iris assembly which kept shutting down the projector. This cropped up at about 800 hours and is a known defect by panasonic. Also by setting the lamp to Eco mode (which I did for this job) you create the known flickering issue that my customer always thought was power surges.
I pretty much hate Panasonic.
