Hi,

I'm desperately searching for discrete codes for the Panasonic Plasma Display TH-42PW4EX and the Panasonic Tuner TU-PTA100E-S.

Kind regards
Laki

Panasonic plasmas SUCK.

If you're looking for video inputs, tehre's two discretes- one of them is for "Video", the other is the discrete code for "Input".

No matter what mode the video input is in, pressing the INPUT code sets the TV in "PC" mode- pressing it again gets you to "VIDEO" mode, pressing again gets you to "COMPONENT" mode. Even if the TV is already in PC mode, it does it this way

441 video 1

other 0250 panasonic codes apply here, too (but not all!)

Thanks a lot for the Information, but I'm using a Pronto, so what would the Hex Codes be ?

Maybe someone yould help also with the Tuner TU-PTA100E-S, I'm looking for the DC Power on/off codes.

Kind regards

I too have the TU-PTA100E-S, and although I tried everything (I lost days!) I couldn't find the discrete codes for On/Off (maybe it's a TOAD). However, I came upon a workaround: the tuner will switch off only if the Power button is pressed longer. So you can use for Off a sequence of two consecutive On/Offs (use links) and for On, you can use any figure button, e.g. 0 or 1. A macro or sequence can then be used to bring the tuner on the desired channel or state.

I did not gave up, I plan to ask Panasonic about the codes, although I have no big hopes on this...

You need to find an installer with access to URC program. The TV code 377 are the Panny discretes. I can't find a way to convert URC to hex.

Greetings,

Unlike in 2002, the later (I'm talking 2010-2011) Panasonic models bring up a menu when 'TV/VI' is pressed. You can then enter a single digit that represents the input you want. Different TVs are different.

The next time I am at my customer's house with his TC-P50S2, I will test the 377 codeset from URC, as suggested above. Thanks for that tip - hopefully that works.

I have also been looking for discrete inputs for the Panasonic professional models (TH-xxPF20U). At this point, I'm using a discrete for input1, then I toggle to the one I need.

I will test 377 with one of those the next time I'm near one.

Thanks.
