Stupid question, but is Hughes DSS = RCA DSS?

I have to do a pronto, and saw the discretes for the RCA...They should work on the Hughes, right? I think I know the answer to be true, but not 100%. THanks.

Hughes use totally different codes than RCA. The Hughes receivers are NOT made by RCA. As fas as I know, the Hughes satellite receivers are made by Hughes.
