Springs, what model are you looking for exactly? We did a JVC LCD not long ago but I can't remember what set of commands I used. Post the model and I'll see what I can come up with for you.
EDIT
Here, try these and let me know what the model is too.

The codes I have for the model you listed are the same as the ones above. Maybe John or someone else can chime in on how to read the above codes and help us generate additional ones?

I'm not sure what aspect of this you're trying to ask me.
You know how to use MakeHex, right?
You understand MakeHex uses device numbers in decimal and defaults to labeling functions in decimal, in contrast to that pdf file from JVC that gives "Custom Code" and "Data Code" in hex. I assume you can deal with converting those numbers from hex to decimal.
I hope it was obvious that "Custom Code" is what MakeHex calls device and "Data Code" is what MakeHex calls function.
So you can run MakeHex once for device 3 and once for device 15 and get two full sets of 256 signals. You could select from those two sets based on the info in that pdf file or you could decide the pdf file is incomplete and test (at your own risk) functions they don't document.
The Pronto Hex in post 2 of this thread is all device 3 and all matches the corresponding entries in that pdf file.

:-)
John, no one knows how to use makehex like you do!
Besides Marantz stuff I always forget exactly which part goes where and into what file in Makehex and I always have to come back to you for translation. :-)
SO.....
OF is the device code, converted in calculator is 15
17 = 23 so you need command 23
1B = 27
Device Code: 15 Function: 23 0000 006D 0001 0011 0141 00A0 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 030E
Device Code: 15 Function: 27 0000 006D 0001 0011 0141 00A0 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 030E

Springs:
In the pdf, there is an entry for DIGITAL-IN with Device 3, Function 21 (decimal) or 15 (hex). Have you tried that for Digital 1? I presume you have, because it was listed at the end of post 2 above (from atoh).
