Does anyone have clean discrete codes for On and Off for the Marantz DV3100 DVD player?

Funny thing is that I have the Marantz RC5000i and it supposed to have the codes in the database. If I try to use them though, they don't work. The alternating code works to turn on, but not off.

Any help is appreciated.

Power On:

RC5x 4 12 1

Power Off:

RC5x 4 12 2

Though I use the play command for on.

Those are the codes I was using. However, they do not work on my player. I've come to use the "play" or "o/c" for on, but still can't get it to turn off.

Any other thoughts?

Actually, that doesn't work either. :-(

This is really strange.

Try increasing delay times between commands.

I was doing it manually, not even by macro, with big (maybe too big?) delays.

Anyway, it has become a moot issue. I finally was able to get the discrete codes to work. Recopied them from the discrete codes page and they worked this time.

Hmph, go figure.
