Yes the unit supports Discrete Power On and Off.

Play will also power it on

I also could use the codes. I poked around a goodly bit, but didn't come up with anything that seemed to work. System is currently using the play/power workaround, but I told the customer I'd stop back to update it once I had these.

I found discrete ON/OFF in the MX-950. It is LG DVD code 091. That code works for most of the DVD player. I learned the rest in. If anybody needs the discrete ON/OFF, I can learn it into a pronto and post the hex. Let me know.

I submitted the LG BH100 remote codes with discrete power to URC a month or two ago, it was in a MX3000 format. It has been verified and is on the installer section of URC's website

Is there any way you could post the codes on this forum? Unfortunately I do not have URC access. Thanks!

Could you please post the pronto file somewhere? Perhaps either here on the forum or somewhere on the site? Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,
I do not have a Pronto remote, but I found put how to sample remote controls codes using a PC and the audio card.

Is anybody able to sample these LG discrete codes for me and post them here?
It's just a matter of connecting an IR transmitter LED (yes, transmitter, not receiver) to audio-in on PC, starting an audio recording and pressing the remote button.
It can be done with Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ). Then it's just a matter of zooming in and getting a screenshot.

As an alternative, it would be enough to know the "raw format" of this code, i.e. how long the 36000 Hz carrier is on and off.
For example, my SKY decoder uses this kind of code:
2800 on
888 off
444 on
444 off
444 on
...
...
(numbers are microseconds durations).

Can anybody turn these pronto codes into raw formats, or just point me in the right direction to do it by myself?

thanks.
