Hi,
I do not have a Pronto remote, but I found put how to sample remote controls codes using a PC and the audio card.
Is anybody able to sample these LG discrete codes for me and post them here?
It's just a matter of connecting an IR transmitter LED (yes, transmitter, not receiver) to audio-in on PC, starting an audio recording and pressing the remote button.
It can be done with Audacity (
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ). Then it's just a matter of zooming in and getting a screenshot.
As an alternative, it would be enough to know the "raw format" of this code, i.e. how long the 36000 Hz carrier is on and off.
For example, my SKY decoder uses this kind of code:
2800 on
888 off
444 on
444 off
444 on
...
...
(numbers are microseconds durations).
Can anybody turn these pronto codes into raw formats, or just point me in the right direction to do it by myself?
thanks.
