I have the full code sheet for the Yamaha RX-V2700, and I'm trying to decipher the NEC codes which ARE NOT available on the remote.
What is the correct Device Code for this thing?
I'm trying to use MakeHex but not sure of the correct device code. I tried a few that I THOUGHT were the code but when I matched results to learned commands they were way different.
Any help would be great.

Download the RAV EDIT software from the Yamaha website. You can enter the NEC code and it will generate the IR string for you.

Yes, It gives me a 900A style IR code which I then need to convert to use with my Pronto TSU1000/2000. To convert it I need to figure out the Device Code to use MakeHex work properly.

I'm not an IR expert as is John Fine, bit here is what I did. I took the NEC code and converted it to an IR string (the 900A) you talk about. Them I cut and pasted it from RAV- EDIt into the IR box of the Pronto. Worked perfect.
