Hi
Does anyone know how to get hold of discreet codes for Grundig components, TV, VCR?

Fred,
There are at least five different IR protocols used for Grundig TV's alone. We will need to start with a model number. The VCR probably has more.
What sort of remote are you trying to program?
If you press one of the channels from Off will the TV turn on? Similar question for the VCR, from Off will Play turn the unit on? If either of those work then at least there may be a work around.
