I need seperate codes for on and off, for a DCT-2224, i really don't know if its a dude or a toad. I'm programming a RTI k4 and routing the ir through a Xantech ir router. Any help would be nice, im in a crunch.

there are no discrete codes for the cable box. You should have used a RP-6 with the K4 and used a VPS-1 current sensor connected to a power supply and plugged it into the outlet on the cable box, then set the outlet to switched so you could monitor the power state. There is a power status input on the K4 as well as a Aux power staus that you could incorporate into the monitoring power of the cable box.

It would be like using a RP-6 and a current sensor, wire same as above then program the power of the cable box usuing the status test in the software...so when system is powered on it checks the state of the cable box and powers it on if its off and powers it down when the system shuts down.

On would be like this

if power status input is off then
DCT2224 power
---Else-----------------------
------------------------------

Off would be like this

if power status input is on then
DCT2224 power
---Else-----------------------
------------------------------

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
