Not sure if I'm in the righ place, but I'll give it a shot. I have a Philips TV that I lost the remote to - The closed captioning cannot be turned off without the original remote... how's that for smart design?

I have a program on my PDA called RemoteControl II where I can specify IR codes (looks like it's in hex form). Does anyone know how I can find the IR code for the CC button that belongs with the TV? The original remote is this one: [Link: newtvremotes.com] .

Did you try the Philips Pronto web site? They list codes for a few of their televisions
