Hi there, I'm a fairly newbie that has been enjoying his Pronto TSU2000 for about a week now. I have had great success with programming my remote and I'm having a blast. I am curious if anyone knows of some discrete hex codes for "input" on my Panasonic CT-27D10 television? I've looked in the Discrete Hunter forum and the Files section with no luck. Hopefully you guys and glas can help me out. Thanks a lot Remote Central!

Mike,

If you haven't tried them, the codes for Video inputs and power discretes listed under Panasonic HDTV's are the same for all newer Panasonic TV's (HD or regular).

I have a 13 inch Panasonic that responds to those discrete power codes.

HTH,

Jon

Thanks for the info Jon. I actually saw those in the Files section and thought about trying them for the heck of it. I'll give them a shot when I get home today. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the link Mike. I have a couple questions if you'll please bear with me. Do I just have to load that CCF into my Pronto and check to see which ones do what? You say "be careful" in your post in the thread that you linked to... How would I blindly go through all 256 codes and still be "careful?" I don't have a problem going through them, I just don't want to F up my TV while doing it. Thank you for any other help you could give :)

FWIW Jon, the HDTV "input" dicretes did not work for me.

Went through all 256 of those codes in that ccf and didn't find what I was looking for. I assume that there is no way to do it then? That sucks, oh well. Guess I'll just have to hit the TV input button everytime I need to change from DVD to Cable and vice versa. :(

Mike,

Just out of curiosity did the discrete power codes work?

Jon,

I didn't try the discrete power codes that were in the "HDTV" section. The ones in the "TV" section worked fine.

Mike,
Did you actually press all 256 of the codes at your TV. Just curious, did it do anything to your TV. I set one up yesterday and need the same code. I resorted to pressing CH+, then TV/Video. Kind of outdated way of getting there but does work.

ngavchris,
Yes, I loaded that CCF that MrKlaatu linked into my Pronto and tried every single one of the 256 codes. Some of them worked for various things, but none went to specific inputs.
