Hi, I've got a question, I guess it's directy to guru johnsfine, the author of the to programms.
The question is about IR code of LGs DVD player, I think they all got the same codes, as I allready tested 3.
I opened some .ccf files I recently downloaded here at the files area with decode ccf.
It says the protocol is NECx1 (there are some others but seemed to be bad learnings)
as I see in further informations of the file generated by decodeCCF, there must be an number of unique bursts of 34, and repeated bursts 3. Thats what I still remembered of a learning I self made with a Pronto.
Anyway, the form IR-signal in the NEC1x .irp file is different !!
In the repeated part, there is only a Prefix and a Suffix, which won't make a number of repeated bursts of 3 !?!?
So I changed the form in the NECx1.irp from originals:
Form=*,D:8,S:8,F:8,~F:8,_;*,_
into:
Form=*,D:8,S:8,F:8,~F:8,_;*,X:1,_
with a Define X=0 in the same file.
Now it works, it generates the right hex code,
here the example for power toggle :
0000 006D 0022 0003 00AC 00AC 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0689 00AC 00AC 0015 0015 0015 0E7F
which got the 3 repeated bursts.
I guess this might be helpful, as there are many LG DVD players arround, at least in germany and brasil.
Any idea, why it differs from the NECx1 protocol ?? did I do something wrong ??
Many thanks in advance,
greetz,
