Hello all,
This is my first post to this forum... What a fantastic resource!
I am currently inputting discrete remote codes for my Denon AVR-3806 into a Philips ProntoPro TSU7000 using IR Code Generator.
There are several IR codes in Denon's documentation for which I have no idea of their purpose. Can anyone shed some light on these?
CH Volume Up, CH Volume Down, RT, PTY
Thanks in advance

I figured out what CH Volume does. It allows adjustment of each speaker's level. I had a mistake in my PCF that made them not work.
As for RT, PTY and also RDS/Search I'm still at a loss.
Since I don't have RDS in the 3806, I presume the latter discrerte has no meaning in my case. At least it doesn't seem to - it has no apparent effect.

RDS stands for Radio Data System, available in europe. RT would be radio text and PTY/search would be programme type search.
If RDS is not broadcats in your area then you are sol.
