I found some pronto hex codes for VID7 and VID8 on Remote Central. I do not know what to do with these codes to get them to work with my MX-700 or if it is even possible. I see that I can import hex codes but it is not working or more likeluy I'm doing something wrong.

I also have a Harmony "number" for VID7 but don't think this is a workable solution.

I also have been given this information but do not have a JP1:

"According to the sony list [Link: hifi-remote.com], Video 8 discrete is Device code 119, CC# 101, which is likely EFC 255. Haven't tried it, though."

And

"I have a discrete code for video7, but haven't found video8. I use a remote with JP1, so I don't really know how you can use this in a MX-700.

Input #7
EFC: 032
Device Combiner: Sony 12/15:151 0 151 0
Hex: 03 42 "

Can I do anything with the informaiton above?

Any other way to find the VID7 (really need this one) and the VID8 discretes that I can inport into my A2000?

Thanks for the help everyone. Sorry for the newbie Q's.....
