I used the same code as the Radio Shack voice prompter, set up with the aux button, What you have to do is make sure that if your system is hooked up in the rear, the monitor is set for that. Info button will switch you from tv to dvd. Pushing ok will play the dvd and the arrows will get you in the menu to set the system.
It is important to make sure that you are set correctly on the monitor. Otherwise the commands will not work. The button above MY DVR fast forwards through the chapters. The arrow above record will get you in timer and item menu.
Basically, I hit buttons to see what they will do.

Try CyberHome codes.

Through code searching, I found my Trutech TT320 DVD player to work with CyberHome (isn't that the other cheap brand Target is selling?). Code 1023 on a Universal Electronics "Atlas" RC (Time Warner cable).
Codes 1117 and 0816 act funky, giving you access to a few more features, but I'm still missing the Subtitle, Audio, Settings and Eject button functionality.

At least now I can browse DVD menus!!

So I have a TruTech 20" TV/DVD combo model # T2000-D; I seem to have lost the remote for that in my two moves and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good universal remote that would work with this TV because in college you kinda need one.
Also does anyone know the customer service number since I can't seem to find the manual either.
Thanks.

I too was having the same problems. I have a Time Warner Cable Digital cable box and remote...I think made my american scientific or something like that. I tried the Dae woo codes and the Funai codes to no avail. Then I noticed taht many of the codes were similair for many brands...Sony might have 4 codes that are all 1 numebr off etc.

So I tried a few codes one number higher or lower than the DaeWoo and Funai codes and found one that worked. These trutech TV's from traget are related to many other companies like DaeWoo and Funai, but also Venturer, kawasaki, Durabrand, Trutech (of course), ILO, lectron and audiovox. many of these brands were listed on my cable universal remote guide, however the code that worked wasn't listed under ANY of these. The more I dug to write this reply the more I relized I got really freaking lucky! Happy hunting...perhaps this will help somebody out there! FYI if you have Time Warner and got the 19 inchech TruTech LCD HD tv w/ DVD player from target..the code that worked for me with my remote was 0192!

Good Luck

Today I bought a GE universal remote because I was tired of keeping up with multiple remotes. The problem is I made sure it would work for my TV before I bought it but I wasn't smart enough to check the DVD/VCR. I have tried the code search but the codes that it did pick up did not work properly. I was wondering if anyone could help me find the universal remote code for a Trutech DVD/VCR combo. Thanks in advance for any help.

If it's a three-code remote, hold the Shift/Setup button until the red LED light turns on, push the DVD/VCR button, push the following:

230, 456, [458, 227]

the ones in the [] are the modern models

458= DV220TT8 TruTech (Funai) VCR/DVD Combo

What is the VCR/DVD model? If DV220TT8, use the 458 code.

Or go to: [Link: jascoproducts.com]

for more information for the remote codes for the particular remote.

That's all.

Have a nice day.
