Hi people,

I did an extensive search at this site and others too and could not find anything. I am really needind the codes for changing the HDMI Aspect Ratio from Widescreen to Normal without entering the menu. I don´t need discretes for the wide or normal modes, just a toogle between them. I tried the Denon PCF, tried downloading CCFs from here and even tried to create a CCF with ProntoUtil to test aditional codes but the IRPanels has some kind of bug and could not create the arquive. I hope someone can help me! Thanks in advance!

IRPanels has lots of bugs, and some of us have experience finding work arounds. But you didn't give much of a clue.

I wrote and use MakeHex to prepare input for IRPanels. I don't recall whatever I might have known at one time about ProntoUtil.

If the command you want existed, I'd expect Denon would have included it in the PDF. You can use MakeHex / IRPanels to test lots of undocumented functions, but I doubt you would find what you want.

Of course you also weren't clear what you meant by "tried the Denon PCF". Does that mean that for each function name in that PCF you are sure it is not the function you want? Or does it just mean you don't know what to do with the data in that pcf?

Thanks for the answer Johnsfine,

IRPanels just give an overflow error when I try to generate a CCF file with the data from ProntoUtil. I will try MakeHex and see what happens. About the Denon PDF, what I mean was that I allready looked for the functions there and could not find it, altough there is a lot of discrete codes there. Thanks again for your answer and I will give MakeHex a try.

Thanks

Ricardo
