What do you mean by "strip out"?
Your answer is probably in Barry Gordon's document on
Pronto Hex:
[Link: remotecentral.com]But if you explain better what you want, I may be able
to tell you the answer.
Well, I would like to have the Pronto transmit codes that Sony's Control S will respond to. This will allow me to use the control S in on the Sony devices we use and hopefully eliminate the need for emitters stuck on the equipment and strenghten the reliability of the install.
I have been told RTI remotes are able to do this by stripping out the carrier frequency of the code. I was hoping someone has experimented with this with PPENG. We primarily use the TSU-7500 and TSU-3500 for our non Crestron installs.

I don't believe with Pronto software. I know with RTI
and Crestron you can remove the carrier frequency if that
is what you are looking to do.
I wonder if the Pronto be able to transmit the code when the carrier is stripped?
