I actually have an excuse for not giving you the model number of my 32" POTV (plain old TV) -- I'm not supposed to lift that much right now.
I have such a beast, and it is about eight months old. Every single discrete power command that I can find in the Pronto, Pronto NG, and RTI files or databases work as toggle power commands on this set.
Would it help if I looked up some of these and printed them here? I'd be glad to do that if someone thinks they can figure out from those discretes that don't work as discretes what a working discrete might be.
