Im trying to find codes for a HITACHI TV C29-F800SNT, and a SAMSUNG Home theater dvd 5 disc changer HT-DB600, and a MOTOROLA Cable box DCT700, my remote is my Playstation portable. If someone can tell me how to extract the codes myself I can do it myself. If you need some sort of professional tools then if anyone has these codes itll help thanks. I hope i posted this in the right section

Do you have instructions for the Playstation portable? Could you tell us what is missing from those instructions? Are there more than one model of Playstation portable?

I get the feeling you are looking for a four-digit code )or 5, maybe) that you enter into the remote after you have pushed and held a couple of buttons to reprogram the remote for a particular device. Is this right? If so, then the right codes have to already be in the remote, and that process only changes your remote to use a different set of built-in codes. If your instructions don't have those exact model numbers, try similar model or series numbers to see if they will work. For instance, there could be ten sets of codes for Hitachi TVs, and any one might work, partially work, or not work.

Let us know what you find.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I use my psp too!
I suppose you use a version IR shell. You don't need professional tools. Open an existing .rdf file in a text editor and replace the codes for yours. Just look for the pronto codes at remotecentral.

I use my PSP too. I'm trying to find the codes for RM-SR231 to control my stereo but I can't find them anywhere. How do you go about finding out what they are?
