I am looking for a new vcr to use on installs and was wondering if anyone knows of a vcr with discrete on/off and av input.

As far as I know all of them will respond to the codes. Aux in is entered as channel 0. Discrete power is not on the remotes but the units will respond to them. JVC power codes have been unchanged for years so any of the files on this site should work with the new models.

Sony Hi-Fi VHS Video Cassette Recorder SLV-N750 has discrete power on/ off. Don't know about inputs.

Can you tell me how I would go about getting the discrete codes into a Sony RM-AV2100? Can I have the original Sony VCR generate the discrete codes somehow so that I can have my Sony Remote Commander learn them?
