I need discrete codes for the power off functionality. I found them for a PLV-Z2 but only the off function works with the updated projector.

Thanks.

I have posted a request in the Z4 tweak thread on AVS. My experience with the Z4 on/off sequence and having a nice software package with my Pronto 7500 has shown that the remote for the Z4 has been emitting two separate codes when pressing the ON/off button. One code is very short and has only about twenty characters while the other is more typical since there's more than 100 characters. Why I didn't think about it when everything was hooked up last night I don't know but my guess is that you have to send the first code and then the second or something like that to get the unit to turn On whereas just sending the big code will initiate the Off sequence. In essence the On button on the Z4 remote is really a Macro. I'm just getting into this so I have more testing to do. Will post my findings. Anyone else please post if you find the solution.

Since I am no longer at my customers site, can you try something for me? Aiming the remote at the projector, press the power button to turn it on. Then covering the remote to prevent the codes from being received by the projector, press the power button again. Then press the power button a third time while aiming it at the projector. Does the projector turn off?
