Onkyo receivers already have discrete Power on/off (standby). Does anyone have Power toggle for an Onkyo receiver?

I would like to use this as well, but can't use a CCF. Is there another way I could set it? I have a Sony RM-VL900, my Onkyo 787's remote, and a palm pilot at my disposal...

thanks,
Ben

Seriously? Discrete power for Onkyo receivers?

Oh, oh, can I have them too? These are probably worth posting. Many people would be happy to see them.

Thanks,

Well, poop. One of you was nice enough to email a ccf with discretes, but darnit if they didn't work The "on" only toggled and the "off" didn't function at all. Anyone else have any? If it's any help, I've got an Onkyo TX-SV545 receiver.

I have an Onkyo TS-DX787 receiver. I use this for discrete ON:
0000 006d 0022 0002 0156 00aa 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 05c0 0156 0055 0016 0e3f

And for OFF:
0000 006d 0022 0002 0156 00aa 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 05ea 0156 0054 0016 0e3f

I copied this from the learned code in my ccf file. Hope this helps.

Paul,

Unfortunately, it had the same effect on my system as the previous set of codes I tried. The "on" functioned as a toggle and the "off" didn't function at all. Oh well. I think my receiver is slightly older than your 787. Thanks anyway!!
