As for the SR5600, try my SR9600 file. Although I didn't include multi-room functions in it.

Did those codes work? We tried them on a 9600 and got nowhere. There have been alot of dealers on this site talking about how good the marantz receivers are. I can't imagine they feel this way without these codes that are built right into the factory remotes from Denon and Integra. Can anyone say for sure that ,Yes, there are discreet codes for Marantz multi-room on, off, source select? Brian E

We've been using the Marantz RC5400 and RC9500 files from the Marantz website to program the Marantz remotes and to create ccf's and icf's with hex codes for teaching and converting to all manner of remotes, as needed (AMX, URC, etc.). I know that the default remote filea re not bullet-proof, they're pretty good. If you need more specific advice, I'll pitch in as needed.

I also can't find the discrete on/off for the SR8500 multizone. I'm using the multispeaker and have a discrete on/off for it but I need to use the triggers and they work from the multizone not multispeaker.

Multi room RC5x 5600 through 8500 at least, maybe more
off 16 29 4 on 16 29 3
I don't use MX850s but I have this in pronto hex if needed. Or you can use Makehex.
It this what your looking for? There's also the multi-speaker ones but from your post above it looks as though you have these.

Download Wizz.It from Marantz's website. then convert to hex with Makehex. There's a thread here. search for short to long and you should find it

I have discrete on/off for multi-zone and multi-speaker as well as discrete input for multi in MXD format. Email me and I'll send it out to anyone that needs it.

I think I know a better way. Go to [Link: us.marantz.com]. Download RC9500 Configuration file.Open WinZip open up RC9500 file, click actions, click comment change Type: 010 to 013 click save then close, this converts the file from a Wizzit9 file to a Pronto Edit file now ProntoProEdit NG will open The file and you will have everything Marantz makes in one file, including multizone discrete. I find the best way to setup the zone two sreen is using a macro multizone off,on,source.

Perry
Thanks for the tip unfortunately for some reason the file will not open up for me in ProntoProEdit NG. I get the error “ProntoProEdit NG does not recognize this file and cannot open it.” If someone could post this file that will open up with ProntoProEdit NG to the file section or email it to me it would be greatly appreciated.
TIA
Chris
