Humax seems to change sub device with model but function codes for On and Off have stayed the same across at least some models. If you post the power toggle then I or others can check the device number and give you codes to try. Also if the unit is off does pressing the 1 digit turn the unit on- this has also been common on a number of models.

Hi

Thanks for Information

For Power On i use now the Key O (Null)
With This key it is equal if the Humax is already on or OFF !!

For Power Off i use a Macro !!
At the First i send the 0 (Define exakt Status on the Humax)
Wait 5 Sekonds
Then i send The Toogle IR to turn off the Receiver

It works but this is not the Best Way !!

I can post You the Toggle IR Code in the Afternoon !!

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I've been successful in using a Harmony Remote with the following code loaded for off. The Sat Receiver is a Humax CI-8100PVR (don't know if it works for the IRCI-5400 though):

Power Off
0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016
0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016
0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016
0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041
0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016
0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

As far as I can tell Humax devices have no discrete Power On. Using 0 is a working solution.

Good Luck,
Alex

For humax 5400 and 5400Z, if you patch the firmware with the ToH one, you can create a macro inside the receiver itself.
I have done it and I have associated the blue button of the remote (it's almost useless) to the on/off command.
In this way if the humax is OFF the macro is not working and the STB remains off.
Il the STB is ON and you press the blue button, if switches OFF.

It works great.

If you need any assistance for patching the humax and for creating a macro inside the firmware I'm available at the following address: [email protected].

Ciao
