I need the video select, and rec out descrete codes for this amp. I have searched this site to no avail. I would also be interested in any other descretes. Does any one have any ideas on finding descretes from other sources?

I have the discrete codes you are after i will send them in .ccf format. As you already know Denon forgot to put these buttons on the remote that came with the 3801 so I got them off an older remote belonging to a customer and tried them to see if they worked on my 3801. They arent discretes(direct source selection) just toggles. Hope they help.

There are several ccf files for the AV 3801 this one says it has discrete codes: [Link: remotecentral.com]I looked at it and it seems pretty complete it has video select and looks like the titles are in English. HTH, Jon
