I think the LP640 uses the Aiwa protocol. In post 9 of this thread:
[Link: remotecentral.com]I created the Pronto hex with MakeHex. You need to make a ccf file with a few of those commands using Pronto edit v.4 and then save the ccf file and import into the Universal browser.
Test to make sure they control your Projector. If so, you can then generate all 256 commands in MakeHex and try them all.
That has a risk that you erase factory settings or do something that will require a factory service call, but that is probably the only way you can find out if it has discrete commands.
