Does anyone know if the JVC 42 inch plasma model number gd-v4210pzw-g has discrete on/off? or any work around?

the two i have installed , i used the auto standby mode and by just turning off the source the monitor will wait about two minutes then it will turn off by itself ... the monitor will power up with next signal...from what talking i have done...last years model didnt power down completly....this one does .... www.igotcoolstuff.com
