I may be asking for the impossible here, but I've been able to find discrete codes here that other sites swore didn't exist, so I figured I'd ask. What I'm looking for are:
Discrete Power On and Power Off codes for Scientific Atlanta Discovery HD 2000 cable tuner. So far, all I can find is the power on/off toggle code.
Discrete codes for seleted Format modes on a Mitsubishi 48607 HDTV. I can cycle through the formats, but I'd like to program in a macro to always use "Standard" on DVD input and "Narrow" on laserdisc, VCR and antenna inputs (HD ignores the format).
Thanks to anybody that can help or even who writes to confirm that I'm asking for the impossible.

Sorry...Mits does not currently offer discreets for screen format, but may on next gen net command tvs...maybe backward compatible codes? Keep your eyes peeled...
Just leave the box on...uses the same power either way!
