Hi, newbie here.

I have the same TV (aquos 37g4u) and the same problem (have discrete codes for pwr on and off, miss inputs).
Did anybody in the thread ever found them? I'd be very grateful.

Thanks.

Does the discrete off that anyone has actually work? The one I have seems to only work as a toggle. Has anyone else noticed this I am using an Aquos LC32GD4. Below are all the codes I have for that model.

Galileo01,

this is what I'm using for my OFF, and it works as it should (no toggling).

0000 006D 0000 0020 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0680 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0680

But again, I have a aquos 37g4u. I tried the input codes you use, and they will not work for me (sigh).

Thanks anyway!

This is my pet aggravation on how long it takes to get discrete codes in order to make a clients system work smoothly. (correctly)

I still can NOT get any codes to for for the Sharp LC-374GU to work except for power ON & power OFF. (No inputs)

I do need to try the MXD file. (I'll test later) I have spent almost 8 hours trying various methods including pasting the HEX code into an RTI T2

Why don't the OEMs just put these buttons on their remotes in the first place like Hitachi to name one.

I have on/off discretes working, but still need
discrete inputs for Input 1-4 (I also have discrete
Input 5 - PC Direct, which works great).

Need them in Pronto TSU3000 Hex form or some form
which I can convert to Pronto...

Any help or advice on where to look, what to try
would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Do you have those commands in a ccf file ?

Thanks,
Tim

Has anybody had any luck with Input 3 for the Sharp LC-37HV6U. So far I have the On/Off,Input 1 & 2, & PC working. Here are the codes that are working for this unit.

I really don't know whow any of "you guys" are getting this to work??

It isn't working for me with any of the remotes I have tied
Pronto TU2000
MX-700
RTI T2

These codes DON'T WORK !!

I'll freely admit that I don't know all there is to know on this like some of the posters on this site.

I have fax from Sharp that I will share, but I don't know how to translate this into hex code. It says that input one should be:
01 132
It has five columns on the fax. 15 bit binary plus two columns of hex

Thanks for the help

Scan and email the "fax" and, I'll translate it for you and post it. IIRC, Sharp has been all over the map on the discrete inputs over the various models. My email is in my profile.

The first two are identical to the ones roddymcg posted. If you look at the right most two columns wehere it says HEX CODE the first column, when translated to decimal is what MakeHex calls device. The second column has a control code as the top bit and what MakeHex calls function is the decimal conversion of the hex byte ignoring the first 1. So 132 => 32 hex and that is decimal 50. It looks like roddymcg converted 132 hex to decimal =>306, but MakeHex truncates the top bit so 306-256=50 and you get the same Pronto hex.

Let me know if you need any of the other commands.

I just received a "new" file in PCF format with Sharp AQUOS discrete codes including the following: on, off, input 1, input2, input3, input4, pc, and component.

These "supposedly" will work with all of the new Sharp models, but at this point I only have confirmation with the 20" and 22" sets (excluding inputs 3 and 4, which are not present on those sizes.)

If anyone has larger sizes (26, 32, 37) of the newest AQUOS models available and would like to test the codes and report back to the forum, I will be happy to email you the file.

Additionally, I will email the file to anyone who would be willing to extract the individual codes from the PCF file and post them here.

Codes did NOT work. I really don't know what to do but call Sharp. Thats usually a real time waster.

Thanks for your efforts!!

Scott, I'm presuming that you were replying to 2 different messages in one posting, so I have sent the file to you via email. Please let us know what you find. Thanks.

Weel Sharp support says they don't have any other codes and they don't even dfferentiate between the 20" Aquos which seem to work and the larger sets.

All I really know is that the Inputs 1 thru 4 don't work.

Is is possible that these are on system 01111 instead of 10000

Does anyone have these codes working anywhere for the LC-374GU?
