I am looking for discrete on/off codes for an Electrograph DTS4230 plasma TV. I think the Champion Vision 42CVI is basically the same plasma as well, if anyone has the codes for this TV.

If no one else has the answer, post the Pronto hex for the numerals 0 through 9 or email me your ccf file, I can probably figure out the protocol and tell you how to generate all possible commands. Then you can try them all to see if you find the discrete power commands.

If you shoot undocumented commands at the Plasma, there is a risk that you trigger a factory reset and it may require a factory service call.

Good morning, I was the person that designed the Electrograph DTS4230. I have all the rs232 and IR codes I just have to find where I put them. This display is a little different than your average Plasma Display.
You're the second person in 2 day looking for information on this unit.

Robert, I dont think he is looking for theose codes anymore....The post is 11 years old. The plasma has probably died or been replaced by now.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

I think you should post them as then they can be added to known databases.  Just because the OP isn't looking for them doesn't mean an integrator won't run into that TV and need them.

I have to find my DTS-4230 manual. The codes for on/off/volume are in there. Please PM me this week if I don't get back to you with an answer.

The original owner of my TV lost the remote and I was trying to find the code to enable PIP mode. I ended up trying every single code from C00 to CFF and this is what I was able to dig up on my own through trial and error:

C73 - Component Input
C74 - RGB Input
C76 - PC/VGA Input
C77 - AVI 1 Input
C78 - AVI 2 Input
C79 - DVI Input
C60 - Screen Rotation
C46 - Displays a white screen
C47 - Displays 4:3 sidebars
C28 - Toggle Closed Captioning
C0F - Enable 4:3 mode
C27 - Zoom
C26 - Natural Wide
C92 - Factory Default
