Help !! I'm looking for discrete codes for a sharpvision XVZ7000U. Also, Discrete power and input commands for a Fujitsu plasma display wouldn't hurt either

Neither exist in IR form.

Those commands are only accessable through the RS232 connection.

Xantech and Celadon make adaptors to convert IR signals to RS232. You can get more info from their websites.

For the Sharpvision Projector, This has allways worked for me
A single power command Turns the projector on Everytime.
If you issue a power comand when the projector is on It displays "select power again to turn projector off"or something to that manner. If this is ignored the message disappers after 2-3 seconds, and will remain on.
So to turn the projector off Issue two power commands with a second delay between.Only problem this gives is If we make a happen to select Off when the system is off the projector will come on.
This sequence has worked for me .And haven't had any customers complain .Just let customers know if the unit is off and the select off again the unit will power on.( it doesn't respond to the double power commands because it takes the unit to fully power on in order to respond to any IR comands. As for the input commands ,I think they can be learned directly from the manufacturer's remote.Same with the Fujitsu Plasma.

Just saw your post today. I have discrete codes for the Fujitsu 4242/5002. These include discrete power on/off codes, and discrete input codes. If you would like them, e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll e-mail you the files.
