Lately, my cookies have been deleted-on their own. I have cookies enabled and I'm running IE 6. (Please don't suggust Firefox.) I then lose login info not only for this site but for every site. My cookies are set to medium, the default. I know I could try a manual override in the advanced options, but I'm a little worried to do that. Anyone have any similar experiences or solutions?

Also, I thought it only happened on restart but I found today that that was not the case...I never shut off the computer but 3 hours later they were reset.

Maybe an antivirus program setting issue? If you have any antivirus, adware or spyware programs running that would be good to know.

I've seen bizarre occurances on my PC where randomly (and rarely) IE will suddenly start using the temp directory to store and read cache, history and cookie files. Whenever I see this behavior - ie. all my logins disappear and all links are shown as unvisited - I reboot and it returns to normal.

Cma, yes I have Norton running. I've had it since I had the computer and have made no recent changes. I'll check into it though.

Daniel, I'll check into that too...but it's recurring and has happened after restarts.
