So let me get this right- you're a pro, don't know what you're doing, and you want someone to bail you out? :)
It's a piece of cake. I programmed my first one in less than 4 hours from start to finish, though I didn't use RS232.

My first one was my biggest. 5 TVs, 7sources, and a Key Digital matrix switch. Would now rather an RTI than a URC now anyday.

Well unlike your nevo the rp-6 will actually work without dancing for hours with tech support!
RS232 is not as easy as say IR or RF. If its your first time with 232... do it in the shop first... keeps you from looking like a hack.
DTC100... are you serious... wow I thought those things were dead a generation or 2 ago. We replaced so many because of power supply issues we swore off RCA. Haivng to use converters and all the other stuff.. the DTC100 was an experiance... wich tuner is it on... input switching but at least it had descrets for real remotes!

I love that remote, for a small touch panel it has become my new favorite. Pretty straight forward, buy the learner if you plan on doing a few of these. RF rocks. Big question that pops up is how to do IR and RF, put the button in stand alone. Since you are doing RS-232 I assume you are using an RP-6, I hope. lol
Design it in the shop so you are just draggin around IR or dropping RS-232 codes. IR library is pretty good, I have created my own for the stuff we do to speed things up.

DTC100... are you serious... I was thinking the same thing. Actually thought it was a typo! Might have to put some extra delays in the macros for the processor in that thing:)

The thread header sounds like a baby shower announcement, who do I RSVP to?
I'll have think up a more impressive announcement when I do my first RTI.

I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.
