I have asked about this once before, but I thought I would check for any additional insight?? Anyone have any luck getting status on this box? The ones we have been seeing do not have a functioning switched outlet. In addition it's video output seems on all whether the power is on or off. We use Intellicontrols and can use voltage, video etc. for status.Light sensors are a last resort, but difficult at best.
Thanks in advance

Err, the menu lets you select the outlet function - always on, or switched. Or is there a problem with the box beyond that?

Do you need it for discreet control? If so there is a work around, using the button will get you to an always on/off state. There are soem tricks to it, test it a bit. It does work though.

Unfortunately the current models we are seeing from Comcast in Minnesota do not have functioning switched outlets. The software still shows a "switched" and "unswitched" setting for the outlet, but it is always on no matter where you set it.
