Build a stellar portfolio of examples of your work...
Befriend the AMX reps at the trainings around the country
and let them know that you want to pick up programming
gigs...
Chat with the people around you at the trainings to see
where they are from and who they may know...
Talk to the rep about giving you some referrrals...
AMX corpoorate will take on some programming, but they
are SKY high... The local branches have their own hired
guns to help you out, but they are usually booked out
to who knows when...
Excellent advice. The programmer we use, we found through our rep many years ago. Don't bother advertising since as an AMX programmer you are pretty specialized and it would be pretty hard to target your clients and if your leads are coming from a rep, hopefully they are someone you would want to work with.
