The game looked good to me whenever the signal held up. Lots of detail, great color. Hughes H-20 tuning from a big 'ol Winegard antenna, Samsung display. i was not digitizing.... dwin plasma ,dishhigh def dvr big ol antenna as well. my issue was it looked like only a digital broadcast not an hdtv broadcast. also it was like moire' as well.... and general grainy. fox was awsome and the nascar on nbc in the afternoon was good as well. it was just the bears game looked funny ed

I'd have watched that game if it were broadcast on a 9" B&W tube and I constantly had to keep adjusting the rabbit ears.
On the other hand, the rule of the announcers having every game to mention blue collar fans, deep dish pizza, Chicago style hot dogs and great middle linebackers is a tad bit tiresome. ...I also like how the announcers do a total about face and jump on the bandwagon of whatever team wins that particular game... :(

Hey GregC,
Read my post... I wasn't crying... I was praising the Bears. I honestly didn't think we'd win this one but I did expect us to play like we're capable of and make it something like 21-17. Last year the Bears offense stunk it up and defense was the only reason they were in it at all. Now with an offense thats clicking... a great home field... a stifling defense that made Hassleboink play like a junior high guy and a surprisingly easy schedule I could honestly see them as a 14-2 team that goes to the Super Bowl. I was impressed with Grossman... didn't know squat about him before Sunday.
I think the reason we Seahawk fans were so bummed last year was because it was our best shot. Losing Hutchinson took us from the best O-line in football to a mediocre one + Walter Jones. Alexander will still get 1000 yards but will fall far short of last season. Without as much of a running game or protection I'm afraid a few more teams are going to tee off on our QB. We'll probably get in as a wild card or the lowest div winner and end up coming back to Soldier field... where we'd better find a radically different game plan if we have any hope. Maybe we'll be back in another 30 years!
Thank God for a bye week!
PS... I thought the HD looked awesome... my picture didn't go bad till I threw a beer at my screen trying to hit Hasselbeck after that stupid sideways chuck for INT $#2.

I was impressed with Grossman... didn't know squat about him before Sunday. He was a stud at Florida, setting a lot of school records even though he went into the draft a year early. Career Stats at Florida Pass Attempts * Career : 1,110 * Season : 503(2002) (UF Record) * Game : 51 (2001) vs. Tennessee Pass Completions * Career : 677 * Season : 287(2002) (UF Record) * Game : 36 (2002) vs. Georgia (UF Record) Pass Yards * Career : 9,164 * Season : 3,896(2001) (UF Record) * Game : 464 (2001) at. Roland, I was just yanking you chain a little. With 2 teams to cheer for, being a transplant, there is always a chance of one of them doing good. Then again there are the Cubs and the Pirates. Oh well...

Rick,
Those are pretty impressive numbers for three years. I complain about east coast bias in sportswriting but sometimes all we hear about over here is USC, a little spot on Texas, USC, a little spot on Ohio State, USC, Who got arrested from the Miami Hurricanes, USC.
Anyway, Hope he remains healthy because if you put any kind of offense with that defense you've got a winning combo.
