Can anyone help with this application, installing a 32" LCD in a sun room. The windows are about 30 inches from the floor, would like to have the LCD pull up when in use and push down below the windows when not being used. Trying to not use an expensive motorized lift.

I might be wrong but I couldnt imagine something non-motorized would be strong enough. Unless it has some kind of a manual crank on the side, but that would be just weird. Someone could probably fabricate something, but it would cost as much as the lift. Have you had a pro look at it to make other suggestions of placement?

If you are willing to pull up the panel, what about just placing it into a cabinet, wrapping the cabling neatly with ties every couple inches, and then pulling it out when you need it??

Ergotron makes counterbalanced swingarm mounts that operate in a simialr fashon to the movable light at your dentists office. Might be worth a look.
