Hi guys, I just bought a Marantz RC5400 and need a code for my receiver. I don't have the original remote control anymore. I did look in the Discrete Infrared Hex Codes section and it wasn't there.

I thought there was a database of codes somewhere. What do you do if original remote control is not available? Your help is greatly appreciated.

If you mention the brand and model there is a good chance that someone could help you out.

Many receiver models within a line share codes sets across many generations.
You should be able to find a set that will work in the code library of one of the programmable remotes compatible with yours.

I would recommend placing any detailed programming requests on the other side of this site in the dedicated forum for the remote you own.
You can find configurations and files compatible with the Marantz RC-5400 in the Pronto NG section.

Jeff, it is a Technics SA-TX50 (THX certified receiver) and Technics DVD-A10 (DVD-Audio Player).

I would greatly appreciate your help!
